of "treaties of Utrecht" between different
countries marking the end of the
War of Spanish Succession.

- Article X: France is to restore all lands and buildings on
"the bay and straights of Hudson" to Britain.
- Article XI: France is to restore the properties of the Hudson's
Bay Company and compensate the company.
- Article XII: France cedes Acadia to Britain.
- Article XIII: France cedes its claim to Newfoundland, with
the exception of fishing rights along the coast from Cape Bonavista
to Pointe Riche. Cape Breton to "belong of right"
to the French.
