Summary: King George of England declares ownership, jurisdiction
and control of ancestral lands in Nova Scotia and New England. Aboriginals promise
in return to: - Not molest or interfere in any way with settlers, their
dependents or any mercantile traffic in this area.
- Give back
anything they might have stolen from individuals in the event of theft or robbery.
- Not help any soldiers trying to escape from British forts.
- Not seek personal revenge on any British subjects for any reason, and
find any redress through British law instead.
- Release any British
prisoners they captured prior to this treaty's ratification.
